Who is Philip the Apostle?

Philip is one of the Twelve apostles, from Bethsaida, the town of Andrew and Peter. Jesus calls him with the words 'Follow Me.'

Philip finds Nathanael and tells him they have found the one Moses wrote about, and when Nathanael is doubtful, Philip simply says, 'Come and see,' bringing him to Jesus.

At the last supper, Philip asks Jesus, 'Lord, show us the Father,' and Jesus replies that whoever has seen him has seen the Father.
