Who is Nicodemus?
Nicodemus is a Pharisee and a leader of the Jews who appears in the Gospel of John. He first comes to Jesus at night and speaks with him about being born again and entering the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus appears again when the chief priests and Pharisees are discussing Jesus. He asks whether their law judges someone without first hearing him and learning what he has done.
His final appearance comes after Jesus' death. Nicodemus joins Joseph of Arimathea in preparing Jesus' body for burial.
